(Must be at least 19 years of age or 1-year post high school; 1 year Brighton experience preferred; medical training-EMT, CNA,MA, etc.)
Set an example of a righteous Latter-day Saint in dress, speech, action, spirituality and fun at all times.
Be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
Participate in camp opening; fulfill assignments to get Dew Drop Inn ready for campers.
Be available before pre-camp to work with the medical council member to organize the First Aid Class, and create a teaching plan with the Senior Sister Missionaries.
Prepare and open the "Dew Drop Inn." Manage an inventory of supplies with the council member throughout the summer.
Obtain a Utah Food Handlers Permit at own expense by pre-camp.
Assist with teaching FIRST AID to the Staff at pre-camp as directed by medical council member.
Carry out any other duties as given by the Directors and council members.
Attend and be on time for weekly Staff Meeting on Sunday evenings.
Attend weekly Camp Leadership meetings.
Be prepared to team-teach First Aid with the Senior Sister Missionaries.
Attend to campers with medical, emotional and behavioral needs; consult with camp leadership as needed. Maintain accurate records of treatments as directed. Keep personal health information of all staff and campers confidential.
Work in tandem with the Director in all medical emergencies at camp. Consult with medical council member as directed.
Be a support to the staff in meeting the First Aid needs of their units.
Support the staff with their personal medical needs.
Submit mid-season personal evaluations.
Participate in end of season cleaning to get the Dew Drop Inn ready for winter.
In addition to housing and meals during the camp week, earn $3800 paid throughout the camp season.
