(Must be 18 to 25 years of age and a high school graduate)
Set an example of a righteous Latter-day Saint in dress, speech, action, spirituality and fun at all times.
Be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
Attend all workshops, study assigned materials, get to know the staff, and help with necessary Craft Shack preparation (i.e., cash register use, craft instruction posters, prepare sample items and teaching plans.)
Carry out any duties as given by the Directors and appropriate Brighton Council members.
Obtain a Utah Food Handlers Permit at own expense by pre-camp.
Participate in camp opening; fulfill assignments to get the Craft Shack ready for campers.
Attend and be on time for weekly Staff Meeting on Sunday evenings.
Report to the Head Craft Counselor for immediate craft-related supervision.
Be present in the Craft Shack during camper craft times as assigned.
Assist with camp programs such as rappelling, life line, camper luggage, etc. as assigned.
Assist Head Craft in making the Craft Shack an uplifting environment; get to know the campers, encourage creative thinking, and look for ways to positively influence campers.
Submit mid-season personal evaluations.
Participate in end of season inventory and thorough cleaning to get the Craft Shack ready for winter.
In addition to housing and meals during the camp week, earn $3200 paid throughout the camp season.
