Due to the Covid-19 pandemic Brighton Girls Camp was unable to open this summer. But, we’ve turned lemons into lemonade and taken advantage of this 99th summer to perform much needed maintenance and upgrades. All the cabins will have beautiful new floors, a new country door was added to the craft shack allowing easier access to the stock room, roofs were repaired, the water system was upgraded, hundreds of hours of love and TLC went into sanding, painting our wooden walkways, decks, walls and railings. We’re so grateful to all those who have lifted heavy logs, spread chips, created benches, painted, replaced equipment, etc, etc, etc…the list of blessings seems endless. Brighton size hugs and “Thank You” go out to our Missionary and Maintenance couples who have kept close watch over camp this summer, and worn out their backs getting Brighton Girls Camp into pristine shape. A big shout out to all those from sponsoring stakes who gave up their Saturday to help make all these projects a success. Girls will be grateful for all your efforts and love for the next 100 years. - Brighton Leadership
