Senior First Aid Specialist

SENIOR MISSIONARY FIRST AID SPECIALIST:
(Senior missionary, retired RN, LPN or CNA)
  • Set an example of righteous LDS living in dress, speech, action, spirituality and fun at all times.
  • Be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
  • Participate in camp opening; fulfill assignments to get camp ready for campers
  • Obtain a Utah Food Handlers Permit at own expense by precamp
  • Must be available before pre-camp to work in and open the "Dew Drop Inn" (Infirmary) and be trained for upcoming season
  • Carry out any other duties as given by the Directors and/or Presidency/Executive Committee
  • Report to Directorship for camp-related supervision.
  • Attend and be on time for weekly Staff Meeting on Sunday evenings
  • Attend weekly Camp Council meeting
  • Work with first aid executive committee member to manage first aid supplies in "Dew Drop Inn." (Infirmary)
  • Must be able to prepare for and teach "First-Aid" to campers as part of "Camp Skills" certification
  • Attend to campers with medical, emotional and behavioral needs, consulting with camp leadership
  • Advise staff on medical needs of campers
  • Advise staff on personal medical needs and maintain confidentiality
  • Submit mid-season and season-end personal evaluation
  • Participate in camp season-end work on staff move-out weekend; fulfill assignments to clean and get camp ready for winter
  • In addition to housing and meals during the camp week, earns unlimited blessings!
