SENIOR MISSIONARY OPPORTUNITIES

Senior Missionary COUPLE

Must live at camp during the entire summer camp season with one preparation day. Housing and meals provided.
​
  • Set an example of righteous LDS living in dress, speech, action, spirituality and fun at all times.
  • Be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
  • Participate in camp opening; fulfill assignments to get camp ready for campers
  • Obtain a Utah Food Handlers Permit at own expense by precamp 
  • Provide priesthood presence and blessings when requested
  • Attend and be on time for weekly Staff Meeting on Sunday evenings
  • Report to Presidency/Executive Committee for maintenance issues.  See Directorship for immediate staff supervision
  • Attend weekly Camp Council meeting
  • Minor maintenance and repairs.  Report major concerns to Executive Committee and work under their direction to solve them
  • Assist with heavy lifting in the kitchen and throughout camp
  • Undertake any assigned projects to make camp area safer, more attractive, and to improve camp facilities
  • Stay in camp on the weekends to ensure safety.  Discuss any weekend time-off with Executive Committee. Will be allowed one day off during the week, this should be arranged in advance with the Brighton President and Director
  • Undertake measures to maintain privacy of the camp and to escort uninvited guests from the premises
  • Assist with garbage runs and luggage
  • Order needed supplies for Kapers in conjunction with the kitchen.  Periodically check Kaper and TNT supplies.  Keep other supplies such as light bulbs and mouse control on hand
  • Participate actively in keeping rodents and other animals away from buildings
  • Keep the Tool Room and Mall areas tidy.  Make sure tools are always put away
  • Laundry duties to include cleaning cloths, maintaining TNT and Kaper supplies, towel care, etc.
  • Follow all requirements of the Forest Service
  • Any other assigned projects as designated by Directors and/or committee
  • Submit mid-season personal evaluation
  • Participate in camp season-end work on staff ;move-out weekend; fulfill assignments to clean and get camp ready for winter
  • In addition to housing and meals during the camp week, earns many blessings throughout the year! 

ALL STAFF REQUIREMENTS​:
All staff will be asked to participate in simple gift exchange during the final week of camp.
